KLEEMANN AND INNOVATION

At KLEEMANN, innovation is the heart of our philosophy. This means that every day we target all things new: the inspiration and its successful formation that will make the movement and the lives of people around us better. As the first manufacturer to introduce worldwide the curved cabins, with 26 patents, we continue to evolve our mindset and our products by taking part in research programs that promote innovation, such as: Composition and eFactory.

Composition program

12 organisations from 7 countries take part in Composition program, sharing one common goal: the creation of a digital platform and support tools which will connect data within a factory’s value chain (intra-factory) as well as will connect data and services between factories (inter-factory). KLEEMANN, with the use of smart sensors which communicate wirelessly to the main system in real time, is informed about: 1) the bins’ fill level for more efficient waste management 2) the vibrations of two production motors in order to better monitor the condition of the machines as well as to increase the operation time and availability. 

eFactory program

The eFactory program (participants include important corporations from all around the world such as Airbus and Siemens) has been formed in order to create a smart factory ecosystem and a digital platform that will connect several parts of the digital industry. The platform will allow the users to utilize innovative functions and develop solutions for specific needs. KLEEMANN participates as an end user to the circular economy model. 

For both programs, KLEEMANN’s people are expected to work for approximately 10.800 hours. It is worth noting that since its first day of operation and to this day, KLEEMANN’s team has worked about 65.000 hours, participating in programs researching and developing innovative ideas.
