KLEEMANN proudly announces the opening of the International Airport of Turkmenabat, one of its most recent high profile projects, in Turkmenistan.

The new airport is designed to satisfy the growing air traffic needs of eastern Europe and also highlight the status of the city, that currently turns into big industrial cluster of Turkmenistan.

KLEEMANN provided the airport with 26 MRL Atlas elevators and 9 moving walks, installed by the company Arap Ulagvy.

The ceremony was highlighted by the presentation of the Certificate of the Guinness World Record Book, officially certifying the uniqueness of architectural design of the passenger terminal. According to the Guiness World Book representative attending the opening, such excellent architectural design is unique to the world and deserves an honoured place in the Guiness World Record Book.

Moreover, a representative of the Munich International Airport, accountable for the evaluation of all systems’ operation, granted the certificate proving compliance to the standards set.

This International Airport will be one of the most important intersections of transport communications in the area, contributing to the local plan for modern transport and logistics infrastructure. KLEEMANN is proud to have contributed to the success of the project.
