The group of KLEEMANN made a donation of 21 electric beds for Intensive Care Units (ICUs) to the Greek Ministry of Health in order to support the National Health System.

More specifically, Mr. Konstantinos Koukountzos, CEO, and Mr. Nikos Koukountzos, Deputy CEO of KLEEMANN Group have visited the Ministry of Health and they met the Minister Mr. Vassilis Kikilias to discuss with him the donation issue.

The minister thanked them for the donation, which contributes to the further strengthening of the National Health System.

The new beds will be placed in ICUs of the thirteen basic hospitals, as well as in hospitals in the prefectures of Thessaloniki and Kilkis.

We are talking about Hillrom beds, which through their wireless connectivity are able to safely record and monitor in real time patients’ data which are important for a safe and effective treatment.

Mr. Konstantinos Koukountzos said that:

«With a strong sense of responsibility towards society an aiming to contribute to state's efforts on responding to the unprecedented health crisis of COVID-19, we have donated 21 modern electric beds for ICU to the National Health System. We hope, however, that the state will properly handle the current situation in order these beds not to be used at this point and remain a legacy for the national health system».
