On November 3rd, 2019, the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Kunshan Governor, Mr. Xudong Zhou inaugurated the new facilities of KLEEMANN CHINA factory in Kunshan, China.
They were welcomed by Mr. Costas Koukountzos and Nikos Koukountzos, CEO and Deputy CEO of KLEEMANN Group and Mr. Paolo Beltrame, General Manager of KLEEMANN CHINA.
KLEEMANN CHINA has been established in 2011 in Kunshan, China, under the KLEEMANN Group's development strategy to provide integrated elevator systems, high quality services, world-class design and 24-hour service for China and Southeast Asia.

In 2017, recognizing the big chance for further development in China and aiming to increase its exports, KLEEMANN made a new investment of about USD 15 million. The investment included the construction of new facilities - office buildings, production and test tower of 100 meters covering a gross floor area of approximately 19,000 m2. Today, the new factory produces high-speed mechanical elevators for high residential buildings and offices as well as shopping malls, expanding that way the range of services and products offered by the company in the local market.

KLEEMANN CHINA employs 130 people in production and management.
