Interlift 2009 Ends

New business collaborations and customer base expansion marks KLEEMANN's successful participation in "Interlift 2009", the largest international trade fair for elevator technology, which took place in Augsburg, Germany, October 13th to 16th 2009.
With a leading edge in high tech products and emphasis on design as their main communication vehicle, KLEEMANN impressed visitors and found itself at the center of international interest, placing innovation once again as the main focus of their strategic design. 

More specifically, the innovation introduced this year was KLEEMANN's presentation of their new line "KLEEMANN Design", which consists of avant-garde designs in cabins and doors, a result of the company's collaboration with the world-renowned Industrial Designer, Andreas Zapatinas. For the first time ever, curved wall surfaces are incorporated in the traditional elevator product lines, thus proposing a new type of movement, one that transforms elevator space in a unique experience for the passenger. 

"Discover the KLEEMANN Design" 

Within the framework of KLEEMANN's participation in Interlift, participants were given the opportunity to attend the presentation entitled "Discover the KLEEMANN Design" by Andreas Zapatinas, Industrial Designer with a long career in automotive industry companies such as BMW, Alfa Romeo and Fiat. The creator of KLEEMANN Design, Andreas Zapatinas, analyzed the concept as a whole as well as the inspiration sources of the new designs.
