FINANCIAL RESULTS OF THE FIRST SEMESTER OF 2002

Consolidated net profits before taxes in the first half of 2002 present an increase of 3,3%, amounting to 3,26 million Euro, against 3,16 million Euro of the equivalent period of 2001.
 

The increase in sales of the first half is a consequence of the strategy that the company follows - at manufacturing process and commercially - by the development of new products and the globalization of its activity.
 

In the current financial year KLEEMANN is estimating an increase in consolidated turnover as well as consolidated profits with the sales surpassing 55,77 million Euro and profits 6,15 million Euro against 2001 which presented turnover of 38,69 million Euro and profits of 5,8 million Euro.
