KLEEMANN will host Elevcon 2008

KLEEMANN will host ELEVCON 2008, the 17th international congress on vertical transportation technologies. KLEEMANN is the co-organizer and exclusive sponsor, responding to an invitation from the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE).

It should be noted that this congress -one of the foremost events of the industry - takes place this year for the first time in Greece. Particularly it is organised under the auspices of IAEE, with participation of professionals, researchers and leading engineers of the industry. It concerns technological developments in the elevators and escalators industry, providing the opportunity of promoting new trends and innovative products. 

The history of the congress begins in 1986, when the first one took place in Nice, France. Since then it takes place yearly or twice a year in a different city throughout the world. 

The aim of the congress is to promote the new trends and innovations of the industry and offer as well a first-rate excellent opportunity for an exchange of opinions and information among representatives of the elevators' and escalators' industry from all over the world. 

This year the congress will take place June 11-13, in Thessaloniki at the congress center of Makedonia Palace Hotel. During the three days of its sessions the participants, coming from 26 countries across the globe will present 48 specialized topics concerning the industry. Within the framework of the event, KLEEMANN will present topics about innovative products and services of the company. The three-day program includes various events, as well as a visit and a guided tour at the KLEEMANN factory at the Industrial Area of Kilkis. After the end of the guided tour there will be a dinner at the facilities of KLEEMANN and a presentation of awards for the Innovation Contest organised by Klemmann.
