The big contest “Innovation in Elevation”, organised by KLEEMANN, was a huge success! Students from all around Greece, warmly responded with innovative ideas to the three subject areas KLEEMANN presented:
The contest had two phases:
During Phase A, the candidates sent their ideas to KLEEMANN. All of the ideas were evaluated by the contest’s committee which selected the ones to be promoted to Phase B.
During Phase B, the selected candidates had to prepare and demonstrate a presentation on their innovative idea in front of the evaluating committee, which decided on the two winners:
1st award – 4000€ prize: Iasson Manoloudis, a Computer science graduate from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki- for his project "Elevator health monitoring system". The project showcases a system that monitors the “health” of elevators and the data gathered. The system includes sensors, mobile and web apps, as well as cloud connection.
2nd award – 2000€ prize: Dimitris Thomaidis, student of the Polytechnic University of Xanthi, for his project “Green elevator with the use of artificial intelligence”. The project showcases a type of elevator that has an energy recovery system, makes use of the solar panel synergy and of the artificial intelligence, resulting in a systems that is in total communication with the habits and demands of the people that use it.
The contest is part of KLEEMANN’s core targets: to urge young minds to explore the challenges faced by the elevator industry, as well as promote totally fresh ideas presented by them.
Congratulations to applicants and winners!
The group of KLEEMANN made a donation of 21 electric beds for Intensive Care Units (ICUs) to the Greek Ministry of Health in order to support the National Health System.
The safety of our people and the communities in which we operate is our number 1 priority.
Safety for our clients, our people and our communities is one of our core values.
KLEEMANN donates twenty-one (21) latest technology Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds to Greek hospitals.
Safety is our number one priority. At this point, we welcome the Greek Governmental legislative provision for a period of restrictive traffic measures with a strong sense of responsibility and we contribute to the preservation of common health. This does not affect our manufacturing facilities.

The Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (known by its French acronym of CCMI, Commission Consultative des Mutations Industrielles) is a distinct body within the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
At KLEEMANN, innovation is the heart of our philosophy. This means that every day we target all things new: the inspiration and its successful formation that will make the movement and the lives of people around us better.
Innovation is the core of our philosophy. This is why KLEEMANN sponsored the first International Student Competition, “Invent for the Planet”, which promotes innovation created by young minds.
The “CERN and Greek Industries”, held by the European Center for Nuclear Research, 10 to 11 January, in Geneva, was much more than an event. It was a valuable experience and a lifetime journey for the KLEEMANN team that attended.
Innovation and trust in people is always worth the effort. And today, KLEEMANN is being rewarded for it: we are happy to announce that KLEEMANN Lifts UK is now a proud RIBA CPD Network Provider!
