Best Workplaces 2015

Receiving the BΕST WORKPLACES 2015 award once again was more than amazing!
This award reinforces us to continue providing a healthy working environment where people feel happy to work and evolve themselves!

Respect for the wellbeing and professional development of every employee has been the core of our strategic mission from the very beginning of our activity as a company. Acknowledging and rewarding the efforts of our personnel is a priority for KLEEMANN. We value and promote a positive work-life balance through several practices, including the option to work remotely during pregnancy or illness, and for mothers of young children. We also provide the opportunity for pregnant woman and those returning from maternity leave to work flexible hours and transfer to an alternative department should they wish to do so.

KLEEMANN offers a private health insurance scheme that provides, amongst others, acupuncture, homeopathy, Pap tests and checkups. Other benefits include subsidised meals in the company’s canteen, marriage and child benefit, a two-day paternity leave entitlement and emergency leave in the case of unexpected personal circumstances. A fully equipped gym is free to all personnel who wish to exercise in the company’s premises and an entertainment room, furnished with a billiard table, table football and table tennis, is available for relaxation.

Notably, in collaboration with DI.VI.PE.K., Kilkis, KLEEMANN also provides an outside space for their personnel to grow fruit and vegetables in the industrial area of Kilkis.

At KLEEMANN, we often find reasons to celebrate: we organise celebrations for Christmas and the traditional New Year’s Vasilopita cake, and have marked the inauguration of the KLEEMANN test tower and our company’s 30 year milestone. Our newly formed employee orchestra accompanies the events.

The families of our personnel are welcomed to the premises of the company during special events such as the annual table tennis tournament, which has been running since 2012 and offers a small cash prize for the winners. The children of our personnel are able to participate in a variety of educational and recreational activities such as robotics workshops, gardening and entertaining games. The highest achieving high school students and high school graduates who have successfully entered higher education are also celebrated and presented with MP4 players and tablets.

Our personnel have been actively involved in voluntary work that supports non-governmental organisations and children’s charities since 2011. In 2014, KLEEMANN supported the work of the SOS Children’s Village and The Ark of the World (Kivotos tou Kosmou), as well as assisting with the supply of medicines to Heart Doctors, a non-governmental humanitarian organisation. In addition, a blood donation event was organised for the 20th time in 2014 to support the Floga Parents Association, in which 45 blood donors participated.
